Sorry for the hiatus!

We took a bit of a hiatus there! There has been so much going on for us that we haven't had time to share our fun!!
The kids really wanted to share with you something that we made today. We came up with the idea to make Nutella roll-ups. We happened to have recently made vegan chocolate hazelnut spread and it was just wasting away in the fridge.
(I couldn't get the pictures to rotate, so you'll have to turn your monitor/phone.)

First we crushed up some cereal in a bag.

We made chocolate milk to soak the rice paper in

We have never seen rice paper before!!

Mommy did the chocolate hazelnut spread. I put on the marshmallows! - Josephine

And some crunchy cereal

I got to make some, too! - Dylan

And some crunchy...

Mommy rolled them up for us. It looked really hard!

And she put them in the hot oven!

We got to taste! MMM

Another 6 weeks down..

Sorry guys. We have really dropped the ball on this blog! I'm trying very hard to keep up with it, but we are running around all the time and its hard. Please bear with me!

Here are some pictures from our Paw Patrol Birthday party for some super cool 4 year olds.

This reads "All pups please report to Adventure Bay".
Adventure Bay is where the Paw Patrol is

Agility Competition: (all pups were able to complete this competition and proved their strength)

Scavenger hunt:

General decoration:
Each kid had their own cup. They are stacked 2 high because of wind.

Birthday Buddy from school

We gave the kids a Lego table for their birthday. Think they like it?

We went for a hike in Caleb Smith Park

"AUNT NATALIE IS FROM SYDNEY!!!"
On their actual birthday, Grandma Liz and Mommy took the kids to the Long Island Childrens Museum.

Dylan described where he put each piece, and I tried to follow what he said. He did a great job describing!!!

On our hike in Caleb Smith Park, we found some black walnuts. The kids wanted to see what it was like to open, so we investigated!

Hammer doesn't work.

Super wrench doesn't work.

Back end of bolt cutters did the trick!
