Mmmmmmm tasty!

Eating our banana muffins!

BAKING!

Today we got to bake with mommy! Here are some photos (we did ALL the work - she just stood there and took pictures!)

First we got out all our ingredients, recipe and measuring thingys

Dylan mashed the banana

Give the flour and sugar a mix....

....and a little more mix

Now time for the wet ingredients

I'll do it better!

"OK Fee, you've got to mix it into the bananas"

Like this

Mix the wet and dry

Give it some muscle!

Line the cupcake tin

Fill it, and take a little taste for yourself...

We get to eat the leftover mix :)

Waiting for it to cook...

Train fun, and other stories...

Just loungin'

Fish, by Josephine Marie

Zayde, reading one of our favorite books, "Growing Foods"

Zayde and Josephine walking together

Doin our shapes puzzles

Relaxing, watching TV after a bath,
wearing our favorite bath robes that Grandma Liz made us
Then it was time for Rosh Hashana, the happy new year! Some of our favorite people came over - our family!
Hannah & Dylan

Joesphine and her BFF Jamie

BFF's

Hangin' out watching videos
 Don't we look CUTE?!

Then we saw our friend Johnny. He invited us over for a BLOCK PARTY! It was our first ever and it was so fun!
Johnny has a seesaw

Sniffing the flowers

We look like brothers. That's okay with us!
We took a ride in the cart to see an animal show down the street

When we got back, Johnny gave us his old car!

BEEP BEEP
The next day, our friend baby Jakob came over to play. We shared our toys with him and let him take this one home. It's always been a favorite, but when we were his age it was one of the only toys we wanted to play with!

Then on the 11th, our calendar said this!
It's apple picking day!!!

Reach in!

Which one is the best?

THAT ONE!

"I got it!"

Walking, looking for the best trees

Look how big we are!

I got this.

Reeeeach

Oooh, they look tasty!

That Friday, Grandma Lenore was making Challah. She let us help!!

(Dylan's piece is under his left hand, Josephine is kneading her piece)

We put them in bowls to rise

Then we shaped them. These are ours.

Grandma made a big one for us all to share. They were DELICIOUS.
We ate them before mommy got a picture.

We fit!
Then we went on our first train ride. We've been asking mommy to take us on the train, and she did! We took the train for 20 minutes, then played on a playground and went to the diner for a snack. When we got back on the train, we picked up momma and rode home together!
Watching the trees go by

Enjoying the bumpy ride

Drinking juice at the diner
Make sure you have the sound up high for the end of this, its a little hard to hear.

And that about sums up the last 2 weeks. We've been so busy! Mommy doesn't let us rest! She says she wants us to be exposed to everything, so we are taking 3 classes this fall (storytime, music and workshop) and we are going to the aquarium and zoos a lot. We are also going to go to some museums. We are really excited about the train museum!!
Did you know that we are turning 2 soon? Can you believe we are getting so old?! Mommy says its just over a week until we turn 2. She also says we will be 18 before she knows it! We don't really know what that means, though.
