How big are we? SO BIG!

Last week we went for our 1 year checkup. The nurse was nice, and so was our Doctor. They gave us sticks to play with! AND PAPER!
WE! LOVE! PAPER!
Josephine weighed in at 20 lbs 3 ounces, 29 inches long.
Dylan weighed in at 21 lbs 4 ounces, 29 1/2 inches long.

The doctor told us we can't have our yummy formula anymore, so mommy has been giving us almond milk. We know she is trying to sneak it in because our milk tastes a little like formula, but a little not like formula.

Mommy also started making us fries! She makes them out of sweet potato because we love sweet potato. Dylan doesn't like them, but I do! Mmmmmm they are so yummy. I eat like a ton!

Mommy said that Grandma is coming back to visit us this week! Mommy won't tell us why, but she said that she is coming and going to play and play with us. (Josephine also overheard some talk about a wedding on Sunday for Momma's best friend Tara, so we think it might be related....)

1st Birthday Party!

Our 1st birthday was Saturday! Mommy and Momma said we could have a part-ay but we couldn't invite EVERYONE we know.. We really wanted to.
A few days before our party, we went with Mommy's friend Michele to the Prospect Park Zoo! We love love love to see all the animals at the zoo! Here's some of what we saw:

DUCK! Some of you don't know this, but Duck is our first word.

DUCK! Actually its a black swan, but we call it DUCK!

Mommy said some people eat those for dinner. We would
rather stick to pasta. That stuff grows from the dirt.

This was a letter that someone wrote to the baby lamb. Mommy
read the letter to us and it was really sweet so she took a photo
of it to share with you

Mommy put us in an egg. She says this is where
animals are born. I guess if we are animals too,
we were born here. We fit, so it must be right.

OK heres the real stuff! These pictures are from our PARTY!!!!! Lots of people came and it was fun!

Aunt Bee made our scrumptious cupcakes,
but her stinky job said she couldn't come to
the party. We told her to quit. She didn't.

Dylan: When I saw my girlfriend Lily, it was like the flame was reignited.
We missed each other a lot and love seeing each other!

We want to thank you all for coming to our party, in real or in spirit. We wish we could have spent it with everyone we know!

The day after our party we went to the Central Park Zoo and to Burger Heaven. We had SO much fun with Grandma and Dale and Uncle Matthew and our friends Bonnie and Matt. Mommy said she has to get pictures from someone before she will upload them so we can post them.
