Relaxin' in the butterfly Garden

We got to watch our Cousin Clay play BASEBALL!

Mommy helped us to write a book. It was so much fun to write and draw the pictures!

Then, Mommy packed up the car and took us on Vacation!

We used our name bags to keep some books and toys in for the car ride.

Very excited!

I'm ready!
Our first stop was a playground in Philadelphia!

After the playground, we went to a deli to get some food. We got a really big peanut butter cookie to share.

After our cookie, we picked up our friend Neomie and drove to San Antonio! (That's in Texas.)
My job for the trip was bringing luggage in and out of hotels.
Along the way to Texas, we got to stop at lots of playgrounds.

And eat in restaurants...

And we had to stop to make important calls

One of our stops was at a McDonalds PlayPlace. IT WAS SO COOL. These instruments played music!

Keeping my eyes healthy!

Most of our ride looked like this.
But when we got into Texas, we stopped at the rest area and there was a walk out back!
What did we see?

A baby alligator!

Our first night in San Antonio we went to our favorite place for dinner - Whole Foods! We got macaroni and cheese and fruit! Mmmm

San Antonio has quite a few places that we could get anything we wanted off the menu. Our favorite was Green Vegetarian. We had grilled cheese for lunch (and the leftovers for dinner). Mommy had a BBQ burger. We tasted some and everything was so yummy!

Mommy got a cupcake! Mmmmm

The mall had a realllllly big play area for us. It was so much fun!! We went here after bringing Neomie to the airport. :(

Before we picked up momma at the airport, we went to a playground that had a walking path behind it. We saw cactus.

"Josephine, the cactus is SHARP so you can't touch it!"
(Yes, thats really what happened in this photo)

Then we played on the playground a bit...

Waiting for momma...
We went to Vegeria for lunch with momma and we shared a BIG plate of Nachos. Mmmmmmmmmm

Then we went to a place that had toys and bounce houses.

climbing... climbing...

weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Roller coaster!
We went to the BEST museum EVER

I got to drive Daniel Tigers Trolley!

So did I!
 Building a racecar..

Dylan won!
 Dylan was a construction man

There was a sand table

and a toddler area...

and a store...

and a bank....

 and an artists studio...

and an airplane....

Buckle up for safety!!

and a reading playhouse...

and a kitchen...

and we went next door for lunch at a restaurant...

(back at the museum) and we got to ride in the boat...

and play life-sized chess (that was harder than you'd think!)

AND SHOP IN A HUGE GROCERY STORE....
(we bought 19 bunches of grapes)

 and to the hen house...

and sail boats in the currents...

and be in a BIG bubble...

and play in a little bubble table...

and make a squished penny before we left.

Clearly all that fun tired us out! (note the leg up, book in hand..)

Then we did the "Hop On Hop Off" San Antonio bus tour. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN. We sat on top, in the front and in the back, and we sat downstairs on the bus (we fell asleep when we did that at the end of the day)

We hopped off the bus and got some yummy lunch. (at Green Vegetarians other location)

We learned about the parts of an eggplant

and famous vegetarians and vegans (mommy forgot to take a picture of the vegan list)

AND MOMMA GOT US CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM FOR DESSERT

We also got to ride on a boat in the Riverwalks river

After San Antonio, we went to Aunt Catalina's parents, Abuela and Abuelo, in Oklahoma City!

We went to their local playground, but it was WAY too hot to play for more than 10 minutes, so we left and
went to the train yard. We watched the trains go back and forth for a long, long, long time.

This is the train yards sign.

Back to hotel living...

and playing on playgrounds between Texas and home..

I'm growing too fast, mommy says.

On our way home we got to see some coooooooool stuff. LIKE THE WORLDS LARGEST ROCKING CHAIR!

Green arrow means go!

 And golf tee..

 AND wind chime!

Across the street from the wind chime is where the new worlds largest rocking chair is going to be. It'll be taller than the wind chime!!!

We had lunch at a picnic table at a rest area..

I climbed the rocks at the rest area. It was super fun!

And we couldn't go through Pennsylvania without stopping to see our new cousin, Olivia Grace. She was just 2 days old when we got to see her!!!

Peek-a-boo!

All in all, we couldn't have asked mommy and momma for a better vacation. Leaving Neomie at the airport was sad, and we missed her, but picking momma up at the airport was really great. We got to meet Marge, who mommy has told us a lot about and who took great care of our great-grandpa Bernie wihle they were married. We got to meet great-grandpa's friends, all the people he met in Texas. (Someone who spent hours with him every week said that Dylan has Bernie's eyes.) We got to see a lot of things around the country, some REALLY BIG things. We had so much fun! The car ride was long, but we really had lots and lots and lots of fun. Meeting Olivia was spectacular.
We are looking forward to our next vacation!!!

The video is 7 minutes long, and we hope you enjoy it!
