After our long winter, we have been sprung out from the snow. We've done a years worth of stuff in the last month, and we have just a few photos to share with you of that.. Enjoy! (And again, there are videos which will be added to THIS blog entry later)
Mommy took us for a bike ride

Springtime!
We begged and begged and begged mommy and she brought us to the Long Island Children's Museum. It is SO MUCH fun there.

Mommy typed our names with this Brailler. Pretty cool to "feel" our names!

Josephine, doing the weather
OUR COUSINS ISAAC AND JOSHUA CAME FROM TEXAS. They are visiting with Grandma in North Carolina and they all drove up to NY to see us for a whole week!!! IT was way too quick, but we had a lot of fun. We took them to Whole Foods, where there was a Junior Iron Chef competition.

Our favorite mayo brand, Just Mayo, was there giving out samples.

Mommy won some CD's and an apron because she was the first to pull our her library card!
The next day, Uncle Matt and Aunt Nat came to visit us. We didn't get a good picture of the 4 of us, but mommy got this picture of the side of Uncle Matts face - proof he was here!

Proof that Spring has Sprung
Of course, Isaac and Josh only wanted to play in the ice and snow patches. Mommy gave them a shovel and said "Please get rid of it all!!!"
Snack break!!!
No trip to our house would be complete without a little science. Yes, the straws in a potato started as science. Then Isaac had so much fun, he had to make the potato look silly and FILL it with straws. IT WAS SO COOL TO WATCH
Josh put different liquids on apple slices and we watched which one turned brown first and which one went last.
Watching Daniel Tiger...
Here is the completed potato!
We also went to the Planetarium and watched a movie.
Isaac, with Josh as his sous chef, made cucumber cups!

Don't they look like sushi??? It's just a wedge of cucumber, partially hollowed out, filled with hummus and topped with red pepper, cilantro and a bit of lemon zest. MM
Then Josh made us some vegan brownies from scratch. No box mixes for these boys!
Some of our school work..
Josh also made pickles with momma
We took them to the Carriage Museum right here in town. Josephine is waiting outside the pretend Stony Brook Train Station.
Just as they were getting in the car, we had to get a good photo of all of us.
After they left, mommy took us to West Meadow Beach again to ride our bikes.
And of course get some fresh water
Mommy and Dylan (Josephine was asleep on the couch) read the book Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and made their own tree with letters.
Then mommy made a parking lot. We had a bucket of vehicles with lower case letters on them, and a parking lot of capital letters. Matching them was so much fun! Josephine was up for doing this, so she joined in.
Then we started soccer! There are no pictures of Josephine because mommy was playing soccer too, so these are from when Dylan was playing in his session (they are in separate sessions). Next time we will have photos of Josephine playing!
Happy Passover!!
Playing with Cousin Clay in the springlike weather!
On our way to a favorite place- the Bronx Zoo!

Here we are with Johnny. His mommy and daddy brought him to the zoo too! We hadn't seen Johnny since Christmas, so this was super exciting to spend the day with him at the zoo!
