Oops!

We've been under a blanket of snow for the last few weeks, and prior to that, we were just regular busy and cold. We didn't realize so much time had passed since our last blog!
We are going to try and catch you up with some photos.
A LOT has been happening with us since early December, when we last "saw" you. We've been to North Carolina to visit Grandma Liz, we went to the train show in NYC with Grandma Lenore and Zayde, we've been to no less than 6 quadrillion museums, we saw our twin friends from Queens, we had a bunch of other playdates, we played in the snow, we got lost in the snow, we got buried in the snow, we made snow angels...we are getting tired just thinking about everything we did!!!!

Our friend from across the street came over and we decorated cookies!!! Mommy made colored icing and colored sugar. Dylan and Kara discovered that they could just eat the icing and skip the painting....

We also went to Gingerbread University and made a Dreidle Cookie for Hanukkah.

And we went next door to The Lobster Roll for some fries.

We went to the Holtsville Ecology Site for their Christmas display.

We made a Hanukkah banner

We love doing artwork in school

Mommy took us to the Cradle of Aviation in Garden City. That place is SO cool!! We have so much fun when we go.

This womans flight suit changed from pants to a skirt with some buttons.

These bikes were about 1 inch high.

We made pretzels. Mmmm

We had a reasonably warm day, so mommy took us to the park.

Josephine LOVES to play with shaving cream

We got some Hanukkah presents!

Grandma Lenore and Zayde took us to the Botanical Gardens Train Show. IT. WAS. SO. COOL! Everything is made out of leaves, twigs, bark, flowers - all plant based stuff!

Grandma and Zayde took us for a Tram Ride after the show so we could relax a little bit.
After the train show, we went to Uncle Andrew's for a Hanukkah celebration

We've had some family come over to our house.. (

Cousin Clay came over and we painted cookies! Mmmm

We went to North Carolina to visit Grandma Liz.

That's Maggie, the ferocious pit bull.
Grandma Liz took us to the Special Operations and Airborne Museum

Mommy made us special shape pancakes.

She made this one for Grandma Liz!
Since North Carolina was warm, we went to the park, as well as the duck pond (above).

Grandma took us to the bounce house
and on the swings

When we unpacked our stuff at home, we discovered that Dylan swiped this apron from Grandma Liz! It's from Bowe's Chicken - our great grandparents (Ruth and Arthur) old restaurant!!

At school, we "travelled" around the world

We went for our first dentist check-up

When there was not enough snow outside, mommy made us fun snow to play with inside.

We tried to play outside, but there just wasn't enough...but we had fun anyway!

We've been practicing writing our names

And always hugging..

Mommy and Momma "built" us this coat closet. It's so much fun to put our coats away ourselves!

Mommy took us and our friend Everett to a new fun place called Imaginations at Play. THERE WAS A BOUNCE HOUSE THERE

We practice our yoga whenever we can

And use our muscles to help with the mail and packages.

And all that fun and work makes us tired.

This was the first big snow we could spend time and play in!

Momma and Dylan built an igloo.

We've been back to the aquarium.

The penguins were out for a walk. We got to stand just a few feet away from them!!!!

Josephine took this photo. Mommy was talking to the bird on the branch.
We invited our twin friends over for a big play date.

We've all grown so much!

Dylan went back to the dentist because something was hurting him. (He's fine, it was something that belongs that got aggravated when he was eating or brushing.)

We've even been to the beach this winter!!

We went to the Grumman Airplane park

And back to the Cradle of Aviation

If I were the President...
I would make sure everyone has food.

I would make sure everyone has toys.
In case you haven't heard, I love pistachios!

Josephine made this Valentine for Dylan

Mommy and Momma did some clean-up around the house and we got boxes!

We wrote some books. Josephine wrote about Hanukkah, and all the things she loves about it. Dylan's book title is "Building Things! Shabbat Fun!" but the book is about so much more...

Grandma Liz sent us some money for Valentine's Day

Cousin Clay came out and we took him to Fun 4 All

Clay is wearing the red shirt in that big climbing thing!

While we slept, Clay and Mommy and Momma made magnets from pistachios!

More pictures from an earlier snow...

More from Imaginations at Play...

This is a water table

Josephine has her own camera, but she shares it with Dylan. These are some pictures we've taken!

Here we are at the Children's Museum of the East End. Momma had a day off from work, so we all got to go here.

Here are some pictures from after the blizzard. Momma had the day off because school was closed, and our friends Kara and Tyler came over.

We dug out our playground!

Josephine had gone inside - but here is Tyler, Kara and Dylan on the playground!

When we went inside, we had hot cocoa.
Here are some pictures from North Carolina's Children Museum.

Walking with Grandma Liz

We had lunch in the park, which was really cool.

While at Grandma's, we made Oobleck which is a really really cool solid and liquid all at the same time.

On our drive home, we took the scenic route on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge tunnel and the Cape May-Lewes Ferry.

More snow pictures...

And more pictures that we, Josephine & Dylan, took with our own camera.

And more pictures of when our twin friends came over

And the final picture - our reading corner that we put together with Mommy while Momma was at work. She was sooo surprised and sooo excited!

Of course, you know us - there are more pictures! These 179 are just the start... We also have some videos that we will have mommy post later. So, come back soon!
