We sure do lead a busy life!! Mommy doesn't let us be lazy and sit around doing nothing. She's always taking us somewhere or bringing people to us! We are so busy! Here's what we did with our last 2 weeks or so....
First, we went to a park with our friend Johnny. He shows us where all the ducks and stuff were. He said when its warmer, there are turtles! We can't wait to go back!
Grandma held a Menorah Making craft at the synagogue. Here are the tables and decorations:
She gave everyone (there were over 30 kids, plus their mommys and daddys) bagels and juice before we got to work.
Then it was time to get to work on our menorahs! We put popsicle sticks with tissue paper into a piece of styrofoam. We even got to decorate the styrofoam!
When ours was all done, we walked around to see others. Here are some of our favorites:
And of course, we got to sing and dance!
Ms. Heather (blue shirt on the left) taught us how to be a dreidel!
Our FAVORITE Menorah:
One day we went out and it was raining. Umbrella's help keep you dry!
We had the whole family over for a Thanksgivukkah Celebration! This is a once in a lifetime event! Some say it happens every 125 years, some say 70,000. Either way, none of us will ever see this day again! It is a cause for celebration!!!
Mommy went a little overboard making place cards for our table:
But it sure made the table look pretty!
Here are our cousins Clay, Jamie and Hannah playing The Game of Life. We gave that to Clay for Hanukkah.
Aren't we cute?!
Josephine & Jamie are BFF's! Jamie is a really good reader.
No family event would be complete if we didn't get to play piano with Uncle Drew!
Here is everyone making a toast to Thanksgivvukkah! We held up our glasses too and clinked others!
Then we got to hear Clayton and Dylan on the guitar. Clayton played Hot Cross Buns. He's really good!
Dylan didn't want to stop playing his Woofer
Then it was time to light the candles for the second night of Hanukkah.
First you have to mix stuff together like flour and sugar and salt. Then you pour in the yeast and water mixture.
Mommy did most of the mixing because it was messy.
But we helped knead it!
Then we got flour on the counter. Mommy said it wasn't making a mess because we needed the flour. We didn't understand why at first, but it sure was a lot of fun to put on the counter!
Then she put flour on our hands! Seemed awfully silly!
Ours are on the left and mommy's are on the right. Aren't ours pretty!?
Then we put them in the oven
We played with our trains while we waited for them to cook
THEY'RE DONE!
Time to eat eat eat them
YUM
I like it with mustard
We took Grandma and Zayde to the aquarium for Hanukkah!
We had so much fun walking around seeing all the animals..
